56. Aircraft Fueling Concession Services Contracts\nRecommendation: Award and authorize the Director of Public Works to execute\ntwo service contracts with MH Aviation, Inc., at General William J. Fox Airfield\nin Lancaster (5), and Billion Air Aviation, Inc., at Whiteman Airport in Pacoima\n(3) for aircraft fueling concession services, for a term of three years, with two\none-year renewal and up to 6 month to month extension options, for a maximum\npotential contract term of five years and six months; authorize the Director of\nPublic Works to execute each renewal and/or extension option, if, in the opinion\nof the Director, MH Aviation, Inc. and Billion Air Aviation, Inc., have\nsuccessfully performed during the previous contract period and these services\nare still required, execute amendments to incorporate necessary changes within\nthe scope of work, and increase or decrease the fuel flowage fee and\nthroughput fee from time to time according to the financial needs of the County\nairports, if required and suspend work if, in the opinion of the Director, it is in\nthe best interest of the County; and find that the proposed actions are either not\na project, or are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.\n(Department of Public Works) APPROVE 4-VOTES (24-0689)
