48. Core HIV Care Services Sole Source Contract Amendments\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Public Health to execute sole\nsource contract amendments with El Proyecto del Barrio, Inc. (EPB), for the\ncontinued provision of Core HIV Care Services, to extend the term effective\nMarch 1, 2024 through February 28, 2025, for a total maximum obligation of\n$609,280, 100% offset by Health Resources and Services Administration Ryan\nWhite Program Part A funds; and authorize the Director to take the following\nactions: (Department of Public Health) APPROVE\nExecute amendments to the contracts that extend the term through\nFebruary 28, 2026, at amounts to be determined by the Director,\ncontingent upon the availability of funds and contractor performance,\nallow the rollover of unspent contract funds, if allowable by the grantor,\nallow for reallocation of funds between budgets, provide an increase or\ndecrease in funding up to 25% above or below the annual base maximum\nobligation, effective upon amendment execution, or at the beginning of\nthe applicable contract period, correct errors in the contract’s terms and\nconditions, and/or update the statement of work and/or scope of work, as\nnecessary;\nExecute change notices to the contracts that authorize modifications to\nthe budget with corresponding modifications to the statement of work\nand/or scope of work, that are within the same scope of services, as\nnecessary, and changes to hours of operation and/or service locations;\nand\nImmediately suspend or terminate the contracts upon issuing a written\nnotice if EPB fails to perform and/or fully comply with program\nrequirements, and terminate the contracts for convenience by providing\na 30-calendar day advance written notice to EPB.
