3-J. PIPE SUPPLY PURCHASE FOR PHASE III WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT – AWARD OF CONTRACT TO PPI AMERICA INC. It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract, in a form approved by the City Attorney, with PPI America Inc. in an amount not to exceed $165,000 for pipe supplies for the Phase III Water Main Replacement Project; and (2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable. CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act): The Project is Categorically Exempt as a Class 1 (Existing Facilities) project (CEQA Guidelines § 15301). Additional environmental review is not required because the Project is a minor alteration to an existing public facility.
