8.g ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDS FROM THE OCEAN PROTECTION COUNCIL AND APPROPRIATING THE FUNDS TO FY 23 BUDGET FOR THE BAYSHORE BIKEWAY RESILIENCY PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT WITH NEXUS PLANNING & RESEARCH. (0680-20) Recommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution 2023-34 to accept the Ocean Protection Council grant, allocate and appropriate the grant funds into the budget, and authorize an amendment to the professional services contract with Nexus Planning & Research to continue work on the project.
