CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL TO REJECT ALL BIDS AND\nAUTHORIZE STAFF TO READVERTISE FOR NOTICE INVITING BIDS\n(NIB) FOR THE AQUATICS CENTER SWIMMING POOL\nREPLASTERING PROJECT (PROJECT NO. 252)\nThe project at the South El Monte Aquatics Center (1500 Central Avenue,\nSouth El Monte, CA 91733) includes the demolition and removal of debris\nassociated with the project, and installation of new swimming pool plaster,\ntile, drain covers, coping, pool lighting, and all additional items included\nwith the pool replastering project. Due to discrepancies on the bids\nreceived, staff seeks City Council approval to reject all bids and authorize\nstaff to readvertise for construction bids.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council reject all bids\nand authorize staff to readvertise the Notice Inviting Bids for the Aquatics\nCenter Swimming Pool Replastering project.
