Item No. 24. 2023-0379 CONSIDER AWARD OF A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO BEADOR CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. FOR PROJECT NO. 1694: CITY WIDE BRIDGE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS Recommendation: TAKE the following actions: 1. AWARD a Construction Contract to Beador Construction Company, Inc., the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, for Project No. 1694: City Wide Bridge Maintenance and Repairs, in the amount of $1,546,700.00. 2. AUTHORIZE the expenditure of construction contingencies in the amount of $232,005 (15%) for change orders and any unforeseen construction work. 3. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute a Construction Contract with Beador Construction Company, Inc., following approval as to form by the City Attorney.
