D. Consideration and possible action to ratify an opposition letter regarding Assembly Bill (AB) No. 309 (Social Housing Act). (Hunter) Recommendation: (1) Ratify the opposition letter signed and sent to Honorable Anthony J. Portantino Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee by Mayor Ferraro on August 1, 2023 opposing AB 309 that would grant the Department of General Services (DGS) the authority to make land use and zoning decisions on state excess property.
