SECOND READING AND ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 22-1068, ESTABLISHMENT OF AN EXPEDITED, NON-DISCRETIONARY MULTI-FAMILY REVIEW PROCESS AND ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 22-5639, A LIBRARY OF PROTOYPE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNS FOR MULTI-FAMILY PROJECTS IN THE R-2 ZONE The City Council is requested to adopt Ordinance No. 22-1068 establishing an expedited, non-discretionary multi-family review process and Resolution 22-5639 establishing a library of prototype architectural designs for multi-family projects in the R-2 Zone. Recommendation: 1. Find Ordinance No. 22-1068 exempt from CEQA per Sections 15305 and15061(b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines; 2. Waive further reading and adopt Ordinance No. 22-1068 (Attachment “A”) establishing an expedited, non-discretionary multi-family review process; and 3. Adopt Resolution 22-5639 (Attachment “B”) establishing a library of prototype architectural designs for multi-family projects in the R-2 Zone.
