STATE OF CALIFORNIA OPIOID SETTLEMENT FUNDS Request the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2023-142 authorizing the Mayor to execute, on behalf of the City, the Public Services Agreement with Escondido COMPACT to provide opioid abuse education, prevention, and intervention services; authorizing the Chief of Police to accept annual Opioid Settlement Funds from the State of California; and approving budget adjustments needed to spend settlement funds.
