Modernizing Older Californians Act Funds for the Elderly Nutrition,\nSupportive Services, and Workforce Programs\nRecommendation: Approve and authorize the Director of Aging and Disabilities\nto execute funding agreements with the California Department of Aging for the\nModernizing Older Californians Act grant funds for the Elderly Nutrition\nProgram in the amount of $19,202,423, the Supportive Services Program in the\namount of $8,148,954, and the Public Health Workforce Program in the amount\nof $117,914, to encourage the Los Angeles County Area Agency on Aging to\nmodernize and expand the Older Californians Act funded programs where there\nare opportunities for continued sustainability to support the needs of individuals\nwho are 60 years and older and meet the goals of the Master Plan for Aging.\n(Aging and Disabilities Department) APPROVE (24-0777)
