16. On-Call Architectural/Engineering and Support Services Agreements\nRevised recommendation: Authorize the Director of Health Services to execute\nagreements with RBB Architects Inc., HMC Group, Huitt-Zollars, Incorporated\nand Taylor & Associates Architects, Inc., for the provision of On-Call\nArchitectural/Engineering and Support Services throughout the County for the\nDepartment of Health Services, effective upon execution for a period of three\nyears, with two one-year extension options, with an annual contract amount not\nto exceed $1,000,000 for each agreement; any unspent agreement amounts will\nbe rolled over to the next contract year, including option years, if exercised; and\ntake the following actions: (Department of Health Services) APPROVE\n(Continued from the meeting of 2-27-24)\nAuthorize the Director of Health Services to execute amendments to each\nagreement to exercise the term extension options, extend the term of the\nagreement for up to two additional one-year periods, with the expiration\nof each of the consultant services agreements subject to the following\ncondition: where services for a given project have been authorized in\nwriting by the County, but are not completed by the consultant prior to\nthe stated expiration date, the expiration date will be automatically\nextended solely to allow the completion of such services, add, delete,\nand/or change agreement terms and conditions that are non-substantive,\nrequired by the Board or the Chief Executive Officer, or necessary for\ncompliance with applicable law, approve necessary changes to scope of\nservices, increase the annual maximum obligation amount by up to 25%\nfor each contract year, execute and approve Cost of Living Adjustments\nto each contractor’s hourly fee schedule in the option years, at the\ndiscretion of the Director; and\nAuthorize the Director of Public Works Health Services to authorize\nadditional and modified services and extend the term of each agreement\nas necessary to complete those additional or modified services when\nthose services are previously unforeseen, related to a previously\nassigned scope of work on a given project and are necessary for the\ncompletion of that given project.; and\nAuthorize the Director of Health Services to execute amendments to the\nagreements to implement any changes authorized to the Director of\nPublic Works.
