2. Arroyo Seco Ecosystem Restoration Feasibility Study\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Barger: Authorize the Chief\nEngineer of the County Flood Control District (District) to take all actions\nnecessary to terminate the agreement with the United States Army Corps of\nEngineers (Corps) regarding the Arroyo Seco Watershed Feasibility Study\n(Study); collaborate and advance the efforts started in the Study, and take all\nthe necessary steps to amend the existing local cost-sharing agreement\npertaining to the Study among the District, and the Cities of La Cañada\nFlintridge, Los Angeles, Pasadena, and South Pasadena, and the Raymond\nBasin Management Board, and apply the local cost-sharing contributions toward\nefforts in the Arroyo Seco Watershed, as agreed upon by the parties to the\namended agreement; and apply the $2,500,000 of funding initially approved by\nthe Board in 2017 (Board Order No. 22 of November 7, 2017), to cover the\ncompletion costs of the Corps’ Study, to the new Arroyo Seco planning efforts.\n(24-0856)
