8.e CONSIDERATION OF A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT APPLICATION AND FEE WAIVER REQUEST FOR THE USE OF PIER PLAZA BY ST. JAMES CHURCH TO HOST THEIR ANNUAL EASTER SERVICE EVENT. (1040-10) Recommendation: Staff recommends the City Council consider approving a special event permit requested from the St. James Church event applicant to activate Pier Plaza as an event venue for their 2024 Annual Easter Sunrise Service on Sunday, March 31, 2024. Staff also recommends the City Council approve the fee waiver request from this local non-profit in the amount of $504.
