12. REVISED FUND BALANCES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-24, MID-YEAR\nBUDGET MODIFICATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-24, AND A\nRESOLUTION APPROVING SALARY SCHEDULES\nRecommendations:\n(1) Update the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Adopted Budget by accepting June 30, 2023,\nending fund balances;\n(2) Modify the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Adopted Budget and approve the additional\nappropriations and adjustments as recommended in the report with any changes\napproved by the City Council; and\n(3) Adopt the salary schedules for Fiscal Year 2023-24 by adopting the Resolution\ntitled, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAGUNA\nBEACH, CALIFORNIA, SETTING PAY RANGES FOR CITY EMPLOYEES,"\nwhich ratifies the changes to the classification titles, range assignments, and salary\ntable format.
