10. COMMUNITY POOL ALTERNATIVES\nRecommendation: It is recommended by a subcommittee of the City Council\ncomprised of Mayor Kempf and Councilmember Whalen that the City Council review\nalternatives for a future community pool facility and provide policy direction to staff\nto (1) pursue joint use of a 50-meter pool planned by the Laguna Beach Unified\nSchool District, (2) explore options to build a new 25-meter pool at an alternate\nlocation that would be constructed, operated and maintained by the City, or (3) pursue\nboth options.
