Palm Avenue Improvement Project from Beverly Boulevard to Whittier\nBoulevard\nRecommendation:\n1) Award the construction contract to Big Ben Engineering in the amount of\n$8,390,957 for the construction of the Palm Avenue Improvement Project;\n2) Reject all other bids;\n3) Approve $839,096 in contingency funding subject to the approval of the\nCity Manager;\n4) Authorize the City Manager to sign on behalf of the City.
