14. The Transfer of $301,424.82 in Unclaimed Money Pursuant to Government Code Section 50050. RECOMMENDED MOTION: Staff recommends that the City Council approve the adoption of $301,424.82 in unclaimed currency, to be deposited into the City’s general fund, and approve an appropriation of this adopted currency to the Police Department’s Machinery & Equipment budget in the amount of $56,287.00, Contract Services budget in the amount of $67,600.00, and the Operating Supplies budget in the amount of $177,537.38.
