B. Adoption of a Resolution Authorizing Acceptance of a Grant from the California Department of Justice for the\nTobacco Grant Program\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt the attached resolution authorizing the acceptance of a grant awarded in\nthe amount of $115,983 from the California Department of Justice Tobacco Grant\nProgram for the Tobacco Enforcement program at the Police Department, and to accept\nall grant renewals.\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents to accept the\ngrant and all grant renewals.\n3. Authorize budget changes as outlined in the Financial Impacts & Budget Actions\nsection of this report.\n4.
