4.8 NATIONAL OPIOID SETTLEMENTS WITH DEFENDANT KROGER CO. Recommended Action: 1. Opt into the settlement agreement with Kroger, allocate the City’s portion of the settlement funds to the County of Orange, and direct the City Manager to execute any documents necessary to implement the action; and 2. Grant the City Manager authority to execute and enter into future similar agreements related to the nation-wide opioid settlements.
