21. 24-617 Item Submitted by Mayor Pro Tem Burns - Establishing a Flagpole at Baca Park in Honor of Vietnam Veteran Medal of Honor Recipient John P. Baca Recommended Action: A) Direct the City Manager and Public Works Director to provide and install an approximate 35-45 foot flagpole for an American Flag to be displayed at John Baca Park; and, B) Consider displaying the Medal of Honor flag, for ceremonial purposes only, for John Baca on a separate mobile or temporary pole at a dedication ceremony. Per City Charter Section 806, “the City may display any other flag in addition to those already enumerated, but only if authorized by a unanimous vote of all members of the City Council.”
