2. RESOLUTION NO. ____________ - FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT NO. 19-\n3626 WITH LEIDOS, INC. FOR AIR QUALITY MONITORING SERVICES\nSummary: Staff requests approval of the proposed First Amendment to Agreement No. 19-3626\nbetween the City of Los Angeles Harbor Department and Leidos, Inc., a corporation of Delaware,\nto provide air quality monitoring services for the four Port of Los Angeles’ air quality monitoring\nstations located in San Pedro and Wilmington. The proposed First Amendment extends the\ncontract term from March 21, 2024 to December 31, 2024 and adds funds in the amount of\n$444,316.30 for a not-to-exceed amount of $3,753,810.30. The Harbor Department is financially\nresponsible for the costs associated with the proposed Amendment.\nRecommendation: Board resolve to (1) find that the Director of Environmental Management has\ndetermined that the proposed action is administratively exempt from the requirements of the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Article II Section 2(f) of the Los Angeles City\nCEQA Guidelines; (2) approve the proposed First Amendment to Agreement No. 19-3626 with\nLeidos, Inc. to extend the term to December 31, 2024 and increase the total not-to-exceed\namount to $3,753,810.30; (3) direct the Board Secretary to transmit said Agreement to the Los\nAngeles City Council for approval pursuant to Section 373 of the Charter of the City of Los\nAngeles and Section 10.5(a) of the Los Angeles Administrative Code; (4) authorize the Executive\nDirector to execute and the Board Secretary to attest to said First Amendment for and on behalf\nof the Board; and (5) adopt Resolution No. ___________.\nSPECIAL MEETING AGENDA\nFRIDAY, MARCH 15, 2024 AT 10:00 AM\nOffice of the City Attorney
