5. RESOLUTION NO. ____________ - APPROVAL OF CONTINUATION OF REVOCABLE\nPERMIT 18-06 WITH SAN PEDRO FORKLIFT, INC.\nSummary: Staff requests approval of the continuation of Revocable Permit No. 18-06 with San\nPedro Forklift, Inc. concerning the use and occupancy of City of Los Angeles Harbor Department\nproperty located at 2418 E. Sepulveda Blvd in Los Angeles for purposes of operating a\ntransloading business. Approval of the proposed continuation will increase monthly rent by\n$13,095.83, or 75 percent inclusive of then current CPI, from $17,461.13 currently to $30,556.96\nas proposed, effective September 19, 2024. Provided that Revocable Permit No. 18-06 is not\nsooner terminated, effective September 19, 2025, monthly rent will increase to $53,474.67\ninclusive of then current CPI, and effective September 19, 2026, monthly rent will increase by\nthe greater of the annual change in the Consumer Price Index or 3 percent. Thereafter, rent will\nincrease by the annual change in CPI.\nRecommendation: Board resolve to (1) find that the Director of Environmental Management has\ndetermined that the proposed action is administratively and categorically exempt from the\nrequirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Article II Section 2(f)\nand Article III Class 1(14) of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines; (2) approve the continuation\nof Revocable Permit No. 18-06 with San Pedro Forklift, Inc. subject to resetting compensation\nas set forth in this Resolution; and (3) adopt Resolution No. ___________.\nSPECIAL MEETING AGENDA\nFRIDAY, MARCH 15, 2024 AT 10:00 AM\nCargo Marketing
