A. INTRODUCTION AND FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE NO. 24-1077 TO AMEND THE TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO STANDARDS FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION FACILITIES City Council is requested to amend the City’s Municipal Code to comply with changes in federal law that affect local authority over wireless communication facilities. Presenter: Community Development Director Recommendation: 1. Introduce for first reading Ordinance No. 24-1077 (Attachment “A”) proposing amendments to Section 9-1T-11 (Wireless Communication Facilities) and Section 6-4A (Telecommunication Facilities in the Public Right of Way) of the Temple City Municipal Code; and 2. Schedule the second reading for November 6, 2024.
