3-G. URBAN FOREST MASTER PLAN AND RESOLUTION UPDATING THE CITY’S PARKWAY AND PLANTING EASEMENT MAINTENANCE STANDARDS It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Receiving and filing the Urban Forest Master Plan (UFMP); (2) Adopting a Resolution amending Resolution 10541 updating the City’s Parkway and Planting Easement Maintenance Standards; and (3) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable. CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act): The item is exempt from the California Environment Quality Act (CEQA) per CEQA Guidelines. Taking the recommended action would not result in a direct or physical change in the environment, and accordingly, does not qualify as a “project” under the California Environmental Quality Act (Cal. Pub. Res. Code §§ 21000, et seq.; “CEQA”) or CEQA regulations (Cal. Code Regs. tit. 14, §§ 15000, et seq.; see Cal. Code Regs. tit. 14, §§ 15061(b)(3), 15378).
