2.H. GENERAL PLAN AND HOUSING ELEMENT ANNUAL\nPROGRESS REPORTS FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2023 [N.\nMARICICH, F. CONTRERAS, T. FARRIS, M. MONTENEGRO]:\nThe City Council will receive the Annual General Plan and Housing\nElement Progress Reports for calendar year 2023, including\nprogress toward the 6th Cycle RHNA, and authorize staff to submit\nthe reports to the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research\n(OPR) and the California Department of Housing and Community\nDevelopment (HCD) in compliance with state requirements. The\nAnnual Progress Reports are exempt from review under the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to California\nCode of Regulations Section 15061(b)(3).\nRECOMMENDATION: Authorize staff to submit the 2023 Annual\nGeneral Plan and Housing Element Progress Reports to the\nGovernor's Office of Planning and Research and the California\nState Department of Housing and Community Development.\nSTAFF REPORT
