RESOLUTION APPROVING THE BLANKET AUTHORITY TO\nFILE APPLICATIONS FOR GRANT FUNDS FROM THE LOS\nANGELES COUNTY REGIONAL PARK AND OPEN SPACE\nDISTRICT FOR MEASURE A FUNDING FOR PROJECTS AND\nPROGRAMS [S. CAMPBELL, H. COLLINS, E. HAMANT]:\nThe City Council will consider adopting the attached resolution,\nwhich will authorize the City Manager or designee to apply for and\nexecute all necessary documents incident to the usage of Measure\nA funds, such as payment requests, contracts, and amendments, to\nsecure the grant funds and to implement and carry out the\npurposes specified in the grant application.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Adopt Resolution No. 24-_______ "A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST\nHOLLYWOOD APPROVING THE BLANKET AUTHORITY TO FILE\nAPPLICATIONS FOR GRANT FUNDS FROM THE LOS ANGELES\nCOUNTY REGIONAL PARK AND OPEN SPACE DISTRICT FOR\nMEASURE A FUNDING FOR PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS;" 2)\nUpon approval of each application of Measure A grant funds,\nauthorize the Director of Finance and Technology Services to\nincrease budgeted revenues and expenditures in the Grant Fund,\nby the amount of the award; and 3) Authorize the City Manager or\ndesignee to apply for and execute all necessary documents\nincident to the usage of Measure A funds, such as payment\nrequests, contracts, and amendments, for the purposes of securing\nthe grant funds and to implement and carry out the purposes\nspecified in the grant application.\nSTAFF REPORT
