6.E. CO-SPONSORSHIP OF EQUALITY FASHION WEEK [Y.\nQUARKER, A. LOVANO, J. DEL TORO, J. DUCKWORTH]:\nThe City Council will consider a request to co-sponsor Equality\nFashion Week, a four-day event organized by Kacy Corporation,\nInc. from Wednesday, May 15, 2024, to Sunday, May 19, 2024, at\nvarious locations in and around West Hollywood.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the co-sponsorship of the\nEquality Fashion Week taking place from Wednesday, May 15,\n2024, to Sunday, May 19, 2024, at various locations in and around\nWest Hollywood; 2) Authorize the City Manager or his designee to\nexecute documents incident to the Co-Sponsorship Agreement\nbetween the City and Kacy Incorporation, Inc.; 3) Authorize the\nDirector of Finance and Technology Services to approve the use of\n$10,000 from Fiscal Year 2024-25 budgeted funds in the Special\nCouncil Programs account number 100-1-01-00-531001 for costs\nassociated with the event; 4) Authorize the use of the City name\nand logo on invitations, programs, and other collateral materials;\nand 5) Direct the Communications Department to utilize all\nappropriate communications tools to promote the event such as the\nCity's website and social media tools.\nSTAFF REPORT\nITEM 6.E. - ATTACHMENT A
