6.A. AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT TO PALP, INC. DBA\nEXCEL PAVING COMPANY FOR 8120 SANTA MONICA\nBOULEVARD SURFACE PARKING LOT, CIP 82-04 [S.\nCAMPBELL, H. COLLINS]:\nThis City Council will consider awarding an Agreement to PALP, Inc.\ndba Excel Paving Company, for the construction of a surface\nparking lot at 8120 Santa Monica Boulevard, CIP 82-04.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve a construction Agreement to\nPALP, Inc. dba Excel Paving Company, in the amount of\n$2,478,769 for the construction of 8120 Santa Monica Boulevard\nsurface parking lot, CIP No. 82-04, and authorize the City Manager\nor designee to execute documents incident to the Agreement; 2)\nAuthorize the Facilities and Field Services Division Manager to\napprove change orders to the construction Agreement in an amount\nnot to exceed 15% ($371,815) of the total Agreement amount; 3)\nAuthorize the Director of Finance and Technology Services to\nallocate $1,840,031 from the unallocated reserves in the 301\nCapital Projects fund reserves construction of a surface parking lot\nat 8120 Santa Monica Boulevard; and 4) Adopt Resolution No. 24-\n________, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD APPROVING THE DESIGN AND\nPLANS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CIP 82-04, 8120 SANTA\nMONICA BOULEVARD, SURFACE PARKING LOT, under\nGOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 830.6."\nSTAFF REPORT\nITEM 6.A. - ATTACHMENT A\nITEM 6.A. - ATTACHMENT B
