9) UPDATE ON EFFORTS ESTABLISHING PUBLIC HEALTH\nDEPARTMENT AND SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY\nOF LONG BEACH PUBLIC HEALTH LABORATORY\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1. Receive and file updates regarding efforts to establish a public\nhealth department; and\n2. Approve the agreement with the City of Long Beach for\nLaboratory Testing Services, in substantially the form as\nattached and in such final form as approved by the City\nAttorney.
