60. As-Needed Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Repair and\nReplacement Services Contracts\nRecommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the Consolidated Fire\nProtection District (District), approve and instruct the Fire Chief to execute\ncontracts between the District and ACCO Engineered Systems, Inc., and with\nMission Aire Corporation, for the provision of as-needed Heating, Ventilation,\nand Air Conditioning Repair and Replacement Services; authorize the\ncombined maximum contract amount of $2,000,000, including the initial contract\nterm of three years, with two one-year extension options, with a maximum\ncontract amount comprised of annual expenditures not to exceed a combined\ntotal of $400,000 per contract year, effective July 1, 2024, with sufficient\nfunding available in the District’s Fiscal Year 2024-25 Recommended Budget;\nauthorize the Fire Chief to execute amendments, suspensions, or termination, if\ndeemed necessary, including any extensions described above, respectively,\nand in accordance with the approved contract terms and conditions, provided\nthe amounts payable under such amendments do not exceed the $400,000\ncombined annual budget; and find that the contract is exempt from the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act.
