41. Local Enforcement Agency Grants\nRecommendation: Adopt resolutions authorizing the Director of Public Health to\napply for and accept Local Enforcement Agency grants as detailed below, for\nFiscal Years 2024-25 through 2028-29 from the California Department of\nResources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) for the period of July 1, 2024\nthrough June 30, 2029, including executing all necessary documentation\nrequired by the State, including grant agreements containing standardized\nterms and conditions, at amounts determined by CalRecycle, to support the\nDepartment of Public Health's solid waste facilities permit and inspection\nprograms within the County: (Department of Public Health) ADOPT\nCalRecycle’s Local Government Waste Tire Cleanup Grant Program, to\nidentify illegal waste tire disposal sites and remove and properly dispose\nof tires found at the sites;\nCalRecycle’s Solid Waste Disposal and Site Cleanup Grant Program, to\nidentify larger illegal solid waste disposal sites and collect and properly\ndispose of waste found at the sites; and\nCalRecycle’s Farm and Ranch Solid Waste Cleanup and Abatement\nGrant Program, to identify smaller illegal solid waste disposal sites and\ncollect and properly dispose of waste found at the sites.
