3-O. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT NO. 2466-AA WITH NICHOLS CONSULTING ENGINEERS, CHTD. DBA NCE FOR SIDEWALK ASSESSMENT SERVICES AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PRECISION CONCRETE, INC. DBA PRECISION CONCRETE CUTTING FOR PROFESSIONAL CONCRETE CUTTING SERVICES It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Authorizing the City Manager to execute an Amendment to Agreement No. 2466-AA with Nichols Consulting Engineers, CHTD. dba NCE, in a form approved by the City Attorney, for sidewalk assessment services for $53,900; (2) Authorizing the City Manager to execute an Agreement with Southern California Precision Concrete, Inc. dba Precision Concrete Cutting, in a form approved by the City Attorney, for professional concrete cutting services for a term of one year with the option to renew for two additional years with an annual amount not to exceed $150,000; and (3) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable. CEQA (California Environmental Quality Act): The City reviewed the environmental impacts of the proposed Ordinance pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code §§ 21000, et seq. “CEQA”) and the regulations promulgated thereunder (14 Cal. Code of Regs. §§ 15000, et seq., the “CEQA Guidelines”). The proposed action contemplates entering into agreements for assessment of the public right of way, and minor alterations to existing improvements. Accordingly, this activity is exempt from further review.
