3-G. URBAN AREAS SEARCH INITIATIVE – AWARD OF CONTRACT TO MICHAEL T. LITTLE, OF COUNTERRISK, INC., FOR THE REGIONAL TRAINING GROUP (RTG) INTELLIGENCE CHIEF POSITION It is recommended that the City Council consider: (1) Authorizing the City Manager to execute a one-year agreement, with the potential to extend for an additional two years, with Michael T. Little of CounterRisk, Inc. in a form approved by the City Attorney, to provide and coordinate effective intelligence-sharing between Los Angeles area fire service agencies and intelligence, counterterrorism, and homeland security stakeholders for an amount not to exceed $690,000; and (2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
