AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE PREMIER PARK RENOVATION\nPROJECT\nFourteen bids for the Premier Park Renovation Project were opened on February 6, 2024.\nBased on the post-bid analysis of the bids received, staff has determined the bid\nsubmitted by RG General Engineering, Inc. to be the lowest responsible and responsive\nbid at $1,216,105.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council declare that this project is exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act (“CEQA”), Class 2, Section 15302(c) as replacement or reconstruction of\nan existing facility; and\nMarch 26, 2024\n2. Waive minor bid irregularities to RG General Engineering, Inc.; and\n3. Award a construction contract for the Premier Park Renovation Project to RG General\nEngineering, Inc. for the bid amount of $1,216,105.00 and reject all other bids; and\n4. Authorize the City Manager to bind the City of Stanton and RG General Engineering,\nInc. in a contract for the construction; and\n5. Authorize the City Manager to approve contract changes, not to exceed 10-percent of\nthe bid amount ($121,610.00).\nEND OF CONSENT CALENDAR
