SELECTION OF THE CITY’S NEW SEAL AND MOTTO\nThe purpose of this report is to review options recommended by the Branding &\nMessaging ad hoc committee to seek City Council selection of a seal and motto as part\nof the next phase of the City's branding and messaging project.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council declare this project to be categorically exempt under the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act, Section 15378(b)(5) (Organizational or administrative\nactivities of governments that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in\nthe environment); and\n2. Select a seal and motto to move forward with the next phase of the branding and\nmessaging project.\nMarch 26, 2024
