9.E. Allocation and Appropriation of Funds for Immigration Education and Support It is recommended that the City Council consider: 1. Approving an allocation of $50,000 from the General Fund to be designated for immigration education and support, as requested at the July 2, 2025 City Council meeting; 2. Appropriating these funds in the FY 2025-26 budget; and 3. Authorizing the City Manager, or designee, to administer these funds as needed in response to future immigration-related needs impacting the Monterey Park community.
