FISCAL YEAR 2025-26 STATE OF CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY SELECTIVE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM (STEP) GRANT AND BUDGET ADJUSTMENT Request the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2025-120 (1) authorizing the Escondido Police Department to accept a Fiscal Year 2025-26 California Office of Traffic Safety (“OTS”) Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (“STEP”) Grant in the amount of $462,000; (2) authorizing the Chief of Police or his designee to execute grant documents on behalf of the City; and (3) approving budget adjustments needed to spend grant funds.
