Continued from March 18, 2024 Council Meeting - Housing-Related\nAmendments to the Central Commercial and Public Facilities Zones\nIncluding Adoption of a Resolution to Amend the Del Mar Community Plan\nand Introduction of an Ordinance to Amend the Zoning Code and Certified\nLocal Coastal Program to Implement Housing Element Programs 1C and\n1H\nRecommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council take the following\nactions in compliance with the City’s certified 6th Cycle Housing Element (2021-\n2029) to increase the local housing stock capacity as required per California\nGovernment Code Section 65863 and Housing Element Program 1C Central\nCommercial (CC) Zone and Program 1H Public Facilities (PF) Zone:\n1) Adopt a Resolution (Attachment A) to amend the Del Mar Community Plan\n(General Plan) by General Plan Amendment (GPA24-001); and\n2) Introduce an Ordinance (Attachment B) to amend the Del Mar Municipal Code\n(DMMC) Central Commercial (CC) Zone regulations in Chapter 30.22 and Public\nFacilities (PF) Zone regulations in Chapter 30.31 that are within the City’s Zoning\nCode and certified Local Coastal Program (LCP) by Zone Code Amendments\n(ZA24-001/ZA24-002) and LCP Amendments (LCPA24-001/LCPA24-002).\nReference: Clerk’s File No. 304-7, 401-4, 401-9
