5.1 APPLICATION FOR THE PERMANENT LOCAL HOUSING ALLOCATION (PLHA)\nFUNDING FROM THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND\nCOMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOR ELIGIBLE HOUSING-RELATED PROJECTS\nAND PROGRAMS\n3\nRecommended Action: Consider and select one of the alternatives below and\ncontinue the item to May 1, 2024.\n1. Direct Staff to prepare a resolution authorizing the PLHA application submittal for\nthe Aliso Viejo Town Center Vision Plan efforts;\n2. Direct Staff to prepare a resolution authorizing the PLHA application submittal\nfor the acquisition of an affordable housing unit; and maintenance/repair, HOA\ndues, and property taxes for all City-owned affordable housing units; or\n3.
