(25) 24-0489 PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to an amended process regarding submission and installation requests of Walk of Fame stars received from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Recommendations for Council action: 1. APPROVE the amended procedures for acceptance of names from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for installation on the Hollywood Walk of Fame attached to the Bureau of Engineering (BOE) report dated February 27, 2026, attached to the Council file. 2. AUTHORIZE the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to approve the addition of new star names to the Hollywood Walk of Fame following its established procedures for nomination qualifications and star selection, the decisions of which are final and entirely within the Chamber’s discretion. Fiscal Impact Statement: The BOE reports that approval of the actions in said BOE report will have no fiscal impact. Hollywood Walk of Fame stars are installed at no cost to the City.
