(37) 26-1181 The Committee may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with its legal counsel relative to the case entitled entitled Nicole Juarez Zelaya v. cv-08382-ODW-MAA, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Case No. 23- 4186. (This matter arises from an April 8, 2019 incident in Van Nuys involving Plaintiff Nicole Juarez Zelaya’s father Jacobo Cedillo and various Los Angeles Police Department Officers.)
