(7) 26-1107 CD 6 PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE REPORT relative to the temporary repair of the Encino Franklin Fields Bridge to restore safe public access and to support the continued operation of Franklin Fields. Recommendations for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Padilla – Blumenfield), SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: 1. REQUEST the Controller to transfer $290,000 within the Engineering Special Services Fund No. 682/50, Revenue Source Code No. 4903, to a new account entitled Franklin Fields Bridge Repair for the Bureau of Engineering (BOE) to complete the temporary repair of the Franklin Fields Bridge in Council District Six. 2. INSTRUCT the Board of Public Works, Bureau of Sanitation, BOE, Department of Recreation & Parks, and any other relevant City agency, to provide expedited review and permitting for the immediate installation of the temporary repair of the Franklin Fields Bridge. 3. AUTHORIZE the City Engineer, or designee, to make any necessary technical and/or accounting adjustments to the recommendations above to effectuate the intent of the City Council action. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
