46. Land Veritas Corporation and Los Angeles County Purchase Mitigation Bank Credits Agreements Recommendation: Authorize the Director of Public Works to sign three agreements to mitigate environmental impacts between Land Veritas Corporation and the County to purchase mitigation credits from the Petersen Ranch Mitigation Bank as follows: 0.08 acre of mitigation bank credits for a total amount of $68,000 for the Kanan Road over Sierra Creek project; 0.17 acre of mitigation bank credits for a total amount of $141,000 for the Lake Hughes Road Sediment Excavation and Culvert Maintenance near Mile Marker 2.74 project; and 0.69 acre of mitigation bank credits for a total amount of $713,000 for the October 2015 Storm, Lake Hughes Road project. There will be no impact to the County General Fund. Find that the proposed actions are exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
