(28) 26-1231 CDs 3, 4 CONSIDERATION OF MOTION (BLUMENFIELD – RAMAN – YAROSLAVSKY) relative to designating street segments for relaxed parking enforcement of street cleaning, time limit and preferential parking restrictions to accommodate Jewish Angelenos during the Jewish High Holidays. Recommendations for Council action: 1. DIRECT the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), Parking Enforcement and Traffic Control Division to add the following street segments to the list for this year in connection with the Jewish High Holidays, and every subsequent year, relaxed enforcement: a. Lindley Avenue and Etiwanda Avenue between Burbank Boulevard and Oxnard and all the streets in between (which includes Miranda, Chimineas, Bromley, Hatteras, Califa and Emelita) in Council District 3. b. The 15700 block of Morrison Street (between Densmore Avenue and Haskell Avenue) c. The 4700-4900 block of Haskell Avenue (between Addison Street and Ventura Boulevard) d. The 5200-5300 block of Leghorn Ave (from Magnolia to Chandler) e. The 5200 and 5300 block of Coldwater Canyon Ave (from Magnolia to Chandler) in Council District 4. 2. DIRECT the LADOT to report with a formal process on adding new street segments that require relaxed parking enforcement to this list and any costs associated with the codification of the process. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
