(12) 15-0989-S62 GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS and AD HOC COMMITTEE ON THE 2028 OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC GAMES COMMITTEES’ REPORT relative to consolidating all procurement opportunities for local businesses on the City's Regional Alliance Marketplace for Procurement platform as part of the Olympic Games. Recommendations for Council action, pursuant to Motion (Rodriguez – Harris-Dawson): 1. REQUEST the Board of Public Works, with the assistance of the Bureau of Contract Management, the Los Angeles Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and other necessary Departments and agencies to report quarterly on all procurement opportunities on the City's Regional Alliance Marketplace for Procurement platform as part of the Olympic Games. 2. REQUEST the Los Angeles Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games to incorporate all Regional Alliance Marketplace for Procurement (RAMP LA) registered businesses into their Supplier.io database to ensure businesses are not forced into a duplicative and confusing process to procure business opportunities. Fiscal Impact Statement: Neither the City Administrative Officer nor the Chief Legislative Analyst has completed a financial analysis of this report.
