50. Settlement of the Matter Entitled, Estate of Roger Morales, et al. v. County of Los Angeles, et al. Los Angeles County Claims Board's recommendation: Authorize settlement of the matter entitled, Estate of Roger Morales, et al. v. County of Los Angeles, et al., United States District Court Case No. 2:24-cv-10144, in the amount of $300,000; and instruct the Auditor-Controller to draw a warrant to implement this settlement from the Department of Health Services' budget. This lawsuit arises from the in-custody death of Decedent at Los Angeles General Medical Center. (26-5528)
