19. Transformative Climate Communities in Unincorporated Willowbrook Recommendation as submitted by Supervisor Mitchell: Direct the Director of the Internal Services Department (ISD) to collaborate and coordinate with community-based-organizations and relevant partners, including County Departments, stakeholders such as Los Angeles Metro, and other applicable agencies, to develop draft strategies and potential projects in the unincorporated community of Willowbrook for application consideration. This work should include robust and intentional stakeholder and community engagement. Delegate authority to the Director of ISD to enter into any contracts or agreements necessary to support ISD’s efforts to complete the application and conduct stakeholder engagement. Direct the Director of ISD, in coordination with relevant County Departments and agencies, to apply for and accept the Transformative Climate Communities Project Development Grant, Round 6, and grant authority to execute all related documents if awarded. The County certifies that, in partnership with its Co-Applicants, it will have sufficient resources to execute the strategies and projects outlined in the grant application.
