29. Settlement of the Matter Entitled, Tyler Amezquita Aispuro, et al. v. County of Los Angeles Recommendation: Authorize settlement of the matter entitled, Tyler Amezquita Aispuro, et al. v. County of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County Superior Court Case No. 25CMCV00879, in the amount of $20,000,000; and instruct the Auditor-Controller to draw a warrant to implement this settlement from the Department of Health Services’ budget. This is a medical malpractice lawsuit against the County for injury suffered by a newborn during the delivery process at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. (County Counsel) APPROVE (26-5662)
