10. FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT – LOCAL SOLICITATION AND BUDGET ADJUSTMENT Request the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2026-149 to (1) authorize the Police Department to accept a $40,876 Fiscal Year 2024-25 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG); (2) authorize the Chief of Police or his designee to execute grant documents on behalf of the City; and (3) approve budget adjustments needed to spend grant funds. Grant funds will cover salary expenses for part-time patrol technicians.
