(52) 25-1114 The Committee may recess to Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section No. 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with its legal counsel relative to the payment of attorney costs in the case entitled Los Angeles Times Communications LLC v. City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 22STCP01267. (This case arises out of a California Public Records Act request where attorneys’ fees were awarded to the Los Angeles Times.) (The Budget and Finance Committee considered the above matter in Open Session on February 3, 2026.)
